Our dispatchers are the second point of contact for most these customers that are already having a bad day therefore empathy and compassion is as important as the details.
The dispatchers are responsible for answering the phones, getting all information that is pertinent from customers, transfer information from the Dispatch program and contacting the customers to verify all the information.
Once this is complete then the dispatcher relays and dispatches drivers to the calls and must help keep the driver and customer informed of any changes that may occur in the process.
The dispatchers here also act as secretaries to the management and cashiers at the window for stored vehicles.
Experience is not necessary.
