successful years in public accounting. Requirements:
CPA license inCaliforniawith Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
5 to 10 years experience in public accounting
Strong understanding and cutting-edge knowledge of high-level taxation, accounting, and presentation of financial statements
Proficiency in preparation and review of Payroll, Sales and Business Property Tax Returns
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Lacerte Tax Software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Excellent organizational skills with experience managing projects towards reporting deadlines
Effective professional communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven record working with small to medium-sized business clients
Job Responsibilities Include:
Preparation & review of individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary and non-profit tax returns
Provide and/or direct high level accounting and bookkeeping services for our clients
Perform compilation, review and audit services for the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP Standards

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
